Dear Friends and Family, The GSCS Cheerleaders will be selling balloon-o-grams for a first day of school treat for our chargers.  Parents can purchase a treat for their students, including a balloon, treat, and a sweet note for $6.00.  We will be delivering the ordered items to the student’s homeroom on the first day of school which is August 4th.  Please carefully review the below form and return it with your payment by August 3rd.  The payment method will be cash only.  We appreciate your support of our program and look forward to your participation in this fundraiser. Greetings GSCS Families! It is my privilege to announce that Mrs. Renee Nguyen has been named the Assistant Principal at Government Street Christian School! Through her years of service to GSCS and GSCS families, she has demonstrated her leadership qualities in her Christian character, professionalism, service, and pedagogy. She is an alumna of GSCS and attended GSBC as a teen. She did her student teaching at GSCS, volunteered at GSBC VBS, and worked as a CDC Summer Camp teacher. She has been a teacher in various elementary grades at GSCS for nearly seven years. She holds an M.Ed. As an experienced teacher and one of my most trusted advisors, I am confident that Mrs. Nguyen will be an even greater blessing to GSCS! Generally, as Assistant Principal, Mrs. Nguyen will be responsible for school-wide supervision, discipline, and monitoring of students. She will also help implement and enforce school-wide policies.
